Tina Sclafani • Owner & Hair Stylist
Tina began working in the beauty industry at the age of 19. She was an apprentice under Robert Hardy, a highly respected hairstylist, at the Robert Lucas Salon on Oak Street, Chicago. She moved to the Mario Tricoci Salon and Day Spa where she became a Senior Stylist, with a specialty in hair cutting, styling and bridal hair. Tina had the privilege to work alongside celebrity hairstylist, Anthony Cristiano, former creative director for Mario Tricoci Hair Salon in Chicago's Gold Coast.
While building a clientele, she earned her degree in Business Management. With her salon expertise and business knowledge, she founded Magnificent Brides.
Tina has tremendous passion and vision for each and every bride she consults with, along with her natural ability to bring out each client's unique beauty. Whether your vision is classic, vintage, romantic, Hollywood glam, full beachy waves, braids, or timeless chignons, she can make your vision a reality.
Tina and her experienced team offer virtual and in-person consultations to discuss your vision and hair inspiration, prior to the trial appointment.
In the event Tina is booked, she selects the best team for your
wedding or special event. Her team of expert, creative artists all specialize in bridal and special event hair and makeup. For large parties, Tina can can send two artists to accommodate everyone in a timely manner.
In addition to working with Brides, Tina had the pleasure of working behind the scenes on several photo shoots, runway shows with Bella Bleu Bridal, Mira Couture, The Wedding Salon, Victoria Sdoukas Couture Bridal, Jewels by Park Lane Catalog, WGN Radio and TV segments and Bill and Guiliana Rancic.
Her work has been featured in Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago, Chicago Style Weddings, Chicago Social Brides, Today Chicago Women, CS Brides Northshore, Style Me Pretty and The Knot.
To date, Magnificent Brides has proudly accommodated hundreds of weddings in the Chicago area.
